Fatty Acids:Peppermint leaves contain fatty acids such as palmitate, linoleate, and linolenate. palmitate, linoleate, and linolenate. 

Origins

Peppermint is believed to have originated in Northern Africa or the Mediterranean region.While it has been used for medicinal and culinary purposes for centuries in these areas, it was also cultivated in other regions like England and even the United States later on.
